Medical scribing that gives your providers their evenings back

Trained remote scribes document each visit in your EHR as it happens, so notes are ready for your sign-off the same day and support the codes you bill.

Codes we work every day2 codes

CPT99214Established patient visit, moderate MDM
CPT99215Established patient visit, high MDM

CPT = Current Procedural Terminology procedure code.

Documentation is part of patient care, but it shouldn’t take up your providers’ evenings. Medwiser scribes work inside your EHR during clinic hours, so the note is drafted when the visit ends.

Better notes also mean better billing. Documentation that clearly supports the level of service reduces downcoding and the back-and-forth between providers and coders.

Where revenue leaks

The problems we fix

  • Charts finished after hours

Documentation done at night delays claims and wears providers down. Notes completed during the visit can be signed the same day.

  • Notes that don't support the E/M level

When MDM or time isn't documented clearly, payers downcode or deny. Scribes document to the 2021 E/M guidelines your coders use.

    • CPT99214Established patient visit, moderate MDM
    • CPT99215Established patient visit, high MDM
  • Delayed charge entry

Unsigned notes hold up claims. Same-day notes mean charges can be entered and submitted the next business day.

FAQ

Medical Scribing: common questions

Are your scribes in the room with the patient?

No. Scribes join remotely through a secure, encrypted connection or work from secure recordings. Patients are told a scribe is assisting, following your consent process.

Who signs the note?

The provider always reviews, edits and signs every note. Scribes document; they do not make clinical decisions.

Which EHRs do your scribes work in?

Most major ambulatory EHRs, including athenaOne, eClinicalWorks, NextGen, AdvancedMD and Epic. Tell us yours and we will confirm before you start.

How is scribing priced?

Per provider per month, based on clinic hours and visit volume. We confirm the price after the consultation.
